1. Overview

This policy explains what information Estimator Advantage ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and software, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, shop name, email address, phone number, and password hash when you sign up or subscribe.
  • Billing information: subscription plan and payment status. Full card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. — we never see or store complete card numbers.
  • Estimate and business data: files, line items, and records you upload or generate while using the Service.
  • Technical information: log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken (used for security, audit logging, and troubleshooting).

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your shop workspace.
  • Process subscriptions, free trials, and payments, and prevent fraud.
  • Communicate with you about your account, billing, and Service updates.
  • Monitor security, maintain audit logs, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal Basis and Your Authorization

You are responsible for ensuring you have the lawful right to provide any third-party or customer data you upload (see Terms of Service, Section 5). We process data you submit solely to provide the Service to you.

5. Sharing of Information

  • Stripe, Inc.: payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy).
  • Service providers: hosting and infrastructure providers bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.

6. Data Storage, Retention, and Loss

Data is stored on systems we operate or procure. As stated in our Terms, we are not responsible for data loss or storage failure, and you should maintain your own backups. We retain account and business data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, billing, and audit purposes, after which it may be permanently deleted.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), role-based access controls, optional multi-factor authentication, and audit logging. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and Sessions

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and remember your workspace. These are required for the Service to function. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the application.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact support@estimator-advantage.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Deleting account data may require closing the associated subscription.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
